I have had some success. I created an entirely new document and set my own dimensions at 6 x 9. then I copied and pasted the original into that one and then removed all but one section along with all headers and footers. Then I paginated the remaining document successfully. Now I intend to add the first two sections back and paginate them separately after establishing section breaks.
I know this sounds all convoluted and it probably is, but the bottom line is that I now have page numbers again. Hopefully I won't have to bother anyone else with my efforts at being self-taught in Word. Dan |
