MS Word Navigation Pane Issues

Hey guys!

I've searched for answers but nothing there seemed to work for me:

While formatting a document on windows 7 64 bit using MS World 2010,
I'm noticing a lot of 'normal' or 'first paragraph' (both styles) text is showing up on the navigation pane.

All I want to see on the navigation pane are sections styled with heading's 1, 2 and 3. What do I need to do to make this happen?
