Default How to change Headings without affecting Page Numbers in Footers

I have a 500 page document with 22 Chapters.
I want:
1) A unique Header for each Chapter.

2) AND, Page Numbering to go from '1' to '500'.

My problem:
I can successfully get a new Header for each Chapter (by using Section Breaks), BUT the Page Numbering starts over at '1' for each Chapter.
-- OR --
I can successfully get Page Numbering from '1' to '500', BUT I cannot get a unique Header for each Chapter.

Question: How can I achieve BOTH a unique Header for each Chapter, AND Page Numbering going from '1' to '500' ?
