Vertical lines have appeared in my document on the left of the page when I hit enter.
They look like the item below

Ive removed track changes and they do not go away. Any help removing them is appreciated. Thank you.

Simply 'removing' Track Changes won't make the lines disappear if they're the result of tracked changes; you'd have to accept/reject the changes too.

Thanks for the response. I've rejected them and it says there is nothing to reject.

Also, the lines I get are dotted vertical lines, not solid like the changes that are tracked. I'm at a loss.

Without actually seeing the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach the relevant portion of the document 9not a screenshot) to a post (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

I fixed it. It had something to do with sharing with other authors. I am the only other author, but may have opened it on another pc while it was closing on a different one.
