			Hi to everyone,

I need some help with the footnotes. I'm writing my university thesis and I can't make footnotes restart at the beginning of every chapter. I managed to do it (I know the passages for Word 2016: footnotes options>numbering>restart for every section) for the first two chapters, but not for the following ones. I keep on selecting "restart" but it doesn't work! Does it depend on sections' divisions? I thought it may not recognized them, so that it seems there's no need for numbering to restart. Please help me, I have just a few days before the discussion! Thank you

Do you have Section breaks between all chapters? If not, your only other option is to have the numbers re-start on every page.
