I grew up on Wordperfect but acquired Word ... because MS.

I continue to be puzzled by Word for doing anything simple like write a letter and always revert to Wordperfect out of frustation.

For example, line spacing.

The minimum option (that I can see) is 1.0 which, I think, means single spacing. But on the screen results for 1.0 spacing looks like 2.0, double spacing. When printed it also looks like double spacing.
