Hi,
I went to your link, and disabled Add-Ins by running "winword.exe /a", and I still get the printing errors, so it seems it isn't a problem with add-ins. Also I don't think it is a corrupt document because I have hundreds of documents, that have no problem opening and editing. And I never had this problem printing with Win 2003, with same documents. When I got my new PC with new Win 10 system, no problems initially but after a couple of days, the print error started up again, so re-formatting won't fix, just postpone. I looked at Temp folder, via %temp%. But many files and folders I couldn't remove because of "You'll need to provide admininstrator permission to delete this folder". When I went to check my status in User Accounts, it clearly said I was Administrator. I was able to delete each of the many sub-folders of Temp, 1 at a time, by right-click/Properties, Security, Advanced, change from Read to Full Control. Very slow... but I couldn't do same for Temp folder. Any suggestions to delete all folders/files at same time? If not, I'll just do each one at a time, and it will take some time. |
