No Old, thanks for the tip, but it isn't this at all. The cursor is jumping without me touching the pad. It is not the first time on this laptop (Asus K53SV). It did this a while ago (2 years ago). At that time I had to reinstall my system and the problem stopped. But recently, I think I used an old document, redacted in that period, and the problem surfaced once again. I was hoping that someone has an idea about what might cause the cursor to go crazy, because I really don't feel like reinstalling my system again. Thanks again.
