Default Drawing a border/line in a table

Hello

I have a table (Word 2007) that looks like this (attached).

How would I draw a line in the position I have it in the image attached?

Thank you.

From the INSERT RIBBON, select "Shapes" and select the LINE shape to be used; draw your line at your desired location then, select the FORMAT ribbon/Shape Outline/Weight to select the width of the line from the Weight options. Then, if desired, select the color of the line.

Should be good to go...

A better solution would be to select the 'To Pay' and 'Amount' cells, and set the border between them.

Set the pen color, weight and border style to the desired values, then select 'Inside Vertical Border' from the borders dropdown.

This way, if you change the size of the table, or add or remove rows or columns, the border will remain between those 2 columns.
