Dear All,
I have set up a specific document using Word 2010 with the styles I would like as follows: I have set my chapter titles as Heading 1, chapter sections as Heading 2, chapter sub-sections as Heading 3 - Here I use the existing styles. In the same document, I have created a new style for the "Appendix", where I have set appendix titles identical to Heading 1, appendix sections identical to Heading 2 and appendix sub-sections as Heading 3. This means that the appendix and chapter styles are the same and thus consistent. Problem: After saving the Word 2010 document and opening it at a later time, I found that the appendix section and sub-section numbering had been blacked out (highlighted black). Attached document: Please see the attached document which shows the appendix from the document. Please use this as an example to understand the problem. I have already read and tried the suggestions on the following sites and others too which are repetitive and not permanent solutions: 1) http://superuser.com/questions/23807...er-blacked-out 2) http://tomtalks.uk/2015/06/fixing-mi...d-out-numbers/ So could you please help me with this problem? Looking forward to your help. ![]() Raptor |
