Default Aussie words

I am an editor and the author is Australian. He uses Aussie terms such as realise, colour, etc. Spell check does not recognize these terms. In an older version of MS Word I was able to click on a country and Spell Check accepted the word. On Word 10 I dont know where to go to do the same thing...click on a country. Any help would be appreciated.
