Beware, however, that Office seems to want everyone to use U.S. English. I too live in Australia, and have set Australian English as the default language for all of office. In my Normal.dotx template, Australian English is set as the language of my 'Normal' style. Yet when I create a new document (or even open normal.dotx), there on the bottom bar is 'English (U.S.)'. It drives me crazy.
