Default Can't Find Word Document in Search or in Folder But It's There in Recent Documents
Hi,



I have a Word document that I can't see when I go into the folder, but is there. When I search for recent Word documents within Word there it is and I am able to click on it and open it. Any idea why this might be? It's Word 2013 on Windows 10.

The file could be hidden and you haven't configured your folder view to show hidden files.

Another possibility is you are navigating there using a dialog that has restricted the view to a particular file type eg .doc and your document has a different suffix.
