Sorry I took so long to respond. I've attached a screenshot showing the number and pink field.
New documents and other updated older documents insert page numbers in the usual manner. It is this one document giving me trouble. Note: When I cut and paste the text into a new document, the properties stay with the data and the pink field shows up. Thanks kev
