I don't use master docs but it would be relatively easy to break cross-refs to other docs contained in a master doc set.
A single Word document can easily deal with files containing that amount of content. I would recommend you merge all your content into a single file and leave the master document complexities behind.

Well, that took another 4 hours work to rebuild the document, but I think you're right... The time had come to build a more stable combined document. Done it now, and I think I've cleared out the cross-referencing glitches. Cheers Simon. |
