![]() Simple facts; I'm running MS Office Home & Student 2013 on a Windows 10 laptop. I'm trying to use WORD but all I can do is open the programme before it completely freezes. I can open a saved doc but not edit is as the cursor doesn't move and all options - Font / Paragraph / Styles etc. are greyed out. I'm only able to close it via the Task Manager. I've checked the Add-Ins under "Manage COM Add-Ins" but only have one INACTIVE OneNote showing, the others being disabled Any ideas on what to do would be a real help. Thanks |

Close Word and run the Task Manager in Windows.
End any instances of Winword.exe that may be running. There can be Add-Ins beside COM addins (although the COM ones seem to cause a disproportionate share of problems). Add-Ins in Microsoft Word |
