While I can easily make a default font, good for all documents, I would like to give a background color (emerald green?) automatically for every document, to ease my weary eyes. Also, is there any way to change the sky-blue background behind the documents?
Many thanks. |

You can add a background color to your template. For it to display, select the option to "Show background colors and images in Print Layout view" in the Advanced category of the Word Options dialog box (Office button | Word Options).

Whew!!! Took a lot of digging, but that seemed to work. Plus, I managed to have a choice of backgrounds (silver, black and the default blue). Many thanks. One learns something new all the time!!!
