Bah, no I didn't end up making a new post. My apologies if you went hunting. I wasn't sure if it would be any more effective than just adding my voice to that of Roscoe....

What do you mean by adding captions for types with automatic bookmarks?

It's interesting that both myself and Roscoe are vaguely aware of the same function that allows for an update to the automatic bookmarks. It does have something to do with changes to a document template. Still looking for the answer and am frustrated that it isn't more apparent.
