Pop-Up Message Box in Template (.dotx)
This pop-up keeps appearing when I open a doc (.doc) based off a template (.dotx) I've created in Word. I don't know how to remove it? Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 07-26-2016 at 07:27 AM. Reason: changed title to give better info about problem |

Open the template. Cancel the dialog if it pops up. Press ALT+F9 to dispay the fields in the document. The field in question is almost certainly a FILLIN field.

Adding to Graham's response, once you have deleted the field, press Alt+F9 again to toggle your display of fields back.
