![]() I've tried everything that I've read on simply getting rid of a "blank" page at the end of a document, to no avail. I've wasted 45 minutes of hair-pulling time and I admit defeat. Who knew the hardest thing I would have to do in Word would be to delete a page??? Would someone please tell me if this is possible, and if so, kindly fill me in? Please??? |

Hi
Delete the Section Break which creates a new page. I have done this for you. Janine |

Thanks so much! I tried doing that, but it always came back, or the format for the previos page changed to portrait so I ended up undoing the change... How can I get the format to stay in landscape for the last page without inserting a section break?

Hi
Your document is in Portrait. You can make page 4 landscape if you like that works. When you insert a section break it creates a new page by default so you can change the page layout to Landscape. You would only do this if you were going to use the new page. Not much point making a change to Landscape if you aren't going to put any text on the new page. Regards Jen |

You did not need the last section break at all.
I deleted it and changed the last section to landscape. Inserting a next-page section break before the page you want landscape orientation and then changing the orientation of that section works does not add section breaks before and after. Selecting the page you want to be landscape and applying the orientation directly will insert two section breaks, one before and one after.
