Hi folks,
You can add the 'follow hyperlink' arrows to the Quick Access Toolbar. That'll give you the former forward/back facility. See under Word Options|Customize.

In the document I am building, I am interpreting some multi-layered OOP. An item called txtMyTextBox would hyperlink to a glossery type item that might say "TextBoxes are based on Class fooby which inherits from foobydad, which in turn is based on foobygeneric". Once a person has followed the hyperlink to that explanation, a return to the jumping off point in the document is essential. The user isn't going to spend time inserting a bookmark each time a trip on the hyperlink highway starts. The majority of users will be comfortable with and used to the "Back" button when in the browser environment, and will expect the same here. Hope that clarifies what I'm looking for. ![]() |
