Hi all,
Just curious if anyone else has run into this. Since at least Word 2013 (maybe 2010, can't remember), the program often stalls when I run find-replace searches with certain combinations. For instance: Find: ^w (a manual space followed by white space) Replace all Word often stalls with a dimmed white screen and I have to restart. Or right now I'm using: Find: ^t^t^w Replace: ^p Works a couple times then inevitably stalls. (I'm running a macro with it, but probably it would still stall if finding/replacing manually by case) It seems like it's something with the white space in combination with other characters (or maybe when ^w is used at the end of the search string). Anyone run into this before? |

The second search also just stalled on me when using the find sidebar rather than the find-replace box.
