I am currently linking information from an Excel Spreadsheet to a Word document through paste link. It is working fine. However, when I send the spreadsheet and word document to someone through email, they cannot update the field. Is there anyone to solve this issue?

The link paths for LINK fields are absolute, meaning they'll only work at the destination if the filepath is exactly the same as on the system they were created on; otherwise, the path will need to be updated before it will work again. For a one-off exercise, the path updating can be done via File>Info>Edit Links. For documents with many links and /or are liable to be used on multiple computers, you can automate the process.
