Default Creating a particular style in Word

Hello,
Can we create a new style in Word 2016 that only specifies the withdrawal of the text stops without changing the font (there may be several) or its other parameters (bold, italic, etc.)?
If so, how?

Thank you for your reply
Regards

I don't know what you mean by 'withdrawal of the text stops' but, presumably, it has something to do with the paragraph format. Paragraph Styles necessarily include all paragraph attributes, including those of the font. You can, of course, base one paragraph Style on another, so that only the differences you choose to differentiate them will occur.

Ok Paul, Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately my paragraphs are already compounds, with different forms of text based on "Normal" (no other use of styles). I just wanted to improve (systematizing) position (first line and following).
I understand that it is not possible to fix only the position of cleats.

That suggests you're not using Styles properly. Hard-formatting (i.e. overriding Style definitions with different formats) not only makes a document harder to maintain; it also increases file sizes and the likelihood of document corruption. See:

Yes, I agree with you. But in my case, the text was written without using styles and I realized that it was not possible to add a style for just the layout tabs.
Subsections include several font sizes, bold and italics and here macros have solved the problem. Ouf !

Thank You
Best regards

Ok Paul, yes, I can not use styles to do that.
I just created some macros to automate the formatting of my paragraphs in my document.
I do the work by hand. It's long...
Thank you for your advice, although helpful. I will look at the links you provided.
Best Regards

With the proper use of Styles, you most likely wouldn't need the macros.

You are making your life much harder! You can use paragraph styles to control tab and indent settings. You can use character styles to deal with fonts, Italicization, etc. You can set keyboard shortcuts to apply these.

You can use the Replace function to substitute styles for much of your formatting. With work already done, it is hard to say whether you will benefit from doing this, but if you are going to be doing much more editing, using styles will greatly ease your work.

Trying to use Word without understanding and using styles is like pushing on a string. I resisted learning and using styles for years and now regret every day of those years because although that string was still very hard to push, it kept getting longer and longer, and had some very important projects tied to it! Once you understand styles and the Word concept of organizing things into Chinese boxes everything falls into place and instead of pushing a string, you can push a button that turns on the very powerful text processing machine known as Microsoft Word and it will start doing your work for you instead of running around behind you trying to undo what you thought you just did.

Hello Charles,

Yes, I am convinced of the usefulness of styles. I usually use.
But in today's documents there is no style ... and it is very large structured documents!

Macros associated with function keys have greatly improved my work.

Again, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to styles, including function keys.
