Hi
To keep this short and sweet, I have my level 1 headings in word set to the following spacing: 84pt before, and 54pt after. In addition, the heading is set to include a page break before. However, in MS Word 2016, it suppresses the heading space before the heading if there is a page break before and there seems to be no way to retain this spacing. How do you retain the "before heading" space? SOLUTION: sourced from http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...ebbf02b?page=2 Now if you really need a space before, e.g. to put the title in the center of the page without having to deal with section breaks, my workaround is the following : If you cannot put space on top of the text, lower the text. - Open the Font dialog box launcher (Ctrl+D) - Go to the second tab Advanced, - Choose Lowered in the Position option, - type the value of the spacing you wish - Don't forget to update the Style to reflect your changes. And that's it. Thank you CathDesign.be :-) Last edited by Ashy1; 05-06-2016 at 08:27 AM. Reason: Solved it |

Include a Frame as part of your Heading 1 definition.
