I agree with Charles that conditionally adding a dropdown takes a fair bit of work, though it doesn't have to be prone to breaking down. Changing the content of a dependent dropdown that remains in the document is much less involved. Either way, some VBA programming would be required. There are examples of the second kind on this forum.
