yes, sorry I try to explain better.
When I said I want split a bigger document I meant that I want divide the whole document into many word files as the number of the chapters. Once finished copy and paste in one file. For cross references do you mean " linking" the imgs with the text using the option in word? Sorry I am not at work and my Office is in Italian.
