Check in Windows to make sure you don't have "Sticky Keys" turned on (Its in Control Panel, Accessibility) CTRL+ENTER is a Hard Page break which is what Word seems to be reading.. You might also want to check and see if the key (either left or right) is actually sticking... Just a quick though - but more than likely its Windows Accessiblity options - that usually fixes it for my users...
