Default Word e-newsletter with built in calendar that will input dates into Outlook

Is this even possible?

One of my clients asked me to build them a newsletter from Word. They now would like to know if there is a way to add a weekly calendar in the newsletter with an accompanying button that inputs the calendar event into their Outlook calendar. I know its possible with HTML newsletter but I am not sure that it is with Word.

Any ideas?
