I could have sworn I was pretty good with Word, but this has me stumped. I can't figure out why my list's numbers are not aligning vertically. The text that follows each is properly aligned, though. I noticed the issue after I changed the number format on some of the levels (e.g., I didn't want "a)" to follow "1.").
Here's a picture of what I'm talking about (NOTE that I left aligned all of the levels to help illustrate my issue -- the vertical misalignment holds true when the different levels are at half-inch intervals too): ![]() Can anyone help? If it makes a difference, note that I've assigned each level a style to help make a TOC later. |
