Default Word 2013 Default Text Box - line/fill

I'm trying to draw a text box with no fill and no line. When I change the box to "no line," and then right click to set as default text box, this setting is not saved. The next time I draw a text box, it goes back to creating a text box with a line. How can I save the text box setting?

Not all settings are saved to the text box defaults, as you have noticed. It's a known issue. There was a discussion about this elsewhere recently, possibly in the Microsoft Community (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...rd?tab=Threads).

Thanks Stefan,

Yes, I see it's been filed as a bug; but no fix as yet.

It may take a while before we see the fix.
