OK, i tried converting to pdf format and it still does not reset numbering on each page. There's got to be a reason for this - surely I'm not the only one who has experienced this weird phenomenon.


Any other ideas I might try?

Can you share the document, or a version with any sensitive information removed?

OK, some corrective information, and apology: First, I had just copied one whole section of many to PDF format and it did not restart the numbering. However, after rereading your message, I then copied the complete document to PDF format and it did change the numbering on each page to restart for each page. So sorry I misread the message. Thanks a million; but, that still seems a bad workaround for a problem that should not exist. I know for a fact that others have had the same thing happen. Hello Microsoft!
Well, it's not ideal, but thanks again; My desire was to be able to just print a single page while working on the document while typing, just to double-check my sentence structure, etc.This just takes longer and slows me down.
I don't mind sharing this as it's not sensitive unless you have objections to religious material. I'm working on a personal study Bible with footnotes as I go and translations of verb tense, voice and mood where it makes a difference from Greek to English.

Sorry I can't upload the file as it exceed the 500KB limit - it is 933 KB in size. But, I now know I can at least create a pdf file and then print just one page even though it is slower.
