Default Setting a Keyboard Shortcut for Advanced Search

Just upgraded to Word 2010 and cannot program <Control>+F to go to Advanced Find not just regular "Find." When I go to record the macro, all I know to do is either hit the binocs in my ribbon or choose it from the drop-down menu in the editing box. Either way, it doesn't "take." Does anybody know how I can do this? That is the one macro that I use CONSTANTLY in my job as a copyeditor!
Thanks!
Suzanne

P.S. I have already been through the bug with the normal.dot not saving on exit and have been force saving it. If anybody needs to know how to do that, let me know!
