Hi Paul.
Many thanks for the reply. I am using Arial 12pt. I changed all the text to Arial Rounded MT with exactly the same problem happening. Both fonts I would say are standard everyday fonts and were loaded into my new laptop when purchased a year ago. It looks like to me there must be a setting button. If with Windows Live mail, I go, file, options, compose, emoticons, I can change the brackets ( ) to emoticons. This box is unchecked. I cannot find anything similar to help with the present problem. I have just tried Baskerville Old Face and the problem is still there. I am in your hands. Cheers, Les. |
