I want to include a page in the Table of Contents, but that page consists only of an image with no text. Is it possible to include it with a custom heading withtout having to put it in the body of the page?

You can add a TC field (table of contents entry field) on the page in question by pressing Alt+Shift+O. The field is formatted as hidden and won't be visible unless you display nonprinting marks (which you can do by clicking the ¶ button on the Home tab).
After you have added a TC field, add the \f switch to the table of contents field and press F9 to update it. You can use Alt+F9 to toggle field display.

Thanks again Stefan.
I got to the Alt Shift O part, but the table was not including the heading. How should I add the \f switch to the field? I pressed Alt F9 and edited the field like this: { TOC \o "1-3" \h \z \u \f } But nothing happens. What is the table identifier that is asking for when I add the field to the body? |

Once you have added the \f switch, press F9 and choose to update the entire table, when Word prompts you. Press Alt+F9 again to hide field codes.

Yep, got it. I had to put "\f C", but it is working perfectly now.
Thank you. How do I mark the post solved? |

OK, maybe you'll have to wait till your post count increases - I don't know what the threshold is, though.
