You could insert a one-cell table into the document, then insert your text & image into that.

Thanks again for the ideas. I tried the table idea but cannot get text to flow around the picture within a table.
I can still find no way to make this happen in Word 2013. I have even tried overlaying the missing element of the vertical borders with a separate line of the same width. This works to an extent but is quite fiddly to do so that the additional line aligns perfectly with the vertical border. There must be a way!? |
