To MSOfficeForums,
I'm having a problem whenever I try to save a new Word 2007 .docx file. I create a new file using Office button > new > blank document and then I edit the document to create content. Then I save it using office button > save as > Word document. The document appears to save normally but Word comes back immediately with another save-as dialog box. This time the suggested file name is the name that I originally requested with the last character replaced by a numeral “1”. This file saves normally and the original file appears in the Windows folder as an empty file (size = 0 kb) I’m running Windows 7 and I did not have the problem using Vista and Office 2007. I would appreciate any help in resolving this error. Thanks, Don Krafft |
