What I am suggesting is like this: you install a 3d party program on a trial basis, the time runs out, you uninstall it, then reinstall it, but the program "knows" what you are up to  What is happening is the Official Uninstall still keeps stuff in the Registry--this is how the program knows what you are doingThe same concept goes with Office or the Internet Explorer Many things in Windows is NOT what it seems, e.g., file deletion -- This is why cops always confiscate a criminal's computer, because s/he thinks s/he has deleted certain files
