Word Version: 2013
OS: Win7 64bit Favorite Drink: The Macallan 21 So, I’ve got a document that I’ve been working on for a while. It’s full of linked text boxes, pictures and all that eye pleasing goodness. The problem I’m running into is that I cannot change the page color on the document. On other documents I can change the page color just fine, just not this one. When I try to change the page color it doesn’t do anything, unless I select a color that is darker than the font. If I do that, then the text disappears. However, at no time do I see the page color on the actual pages change. Help me Obi-Word Kenobis; you’re my only hope. |

If the color of text is set to "Automatic," it should change (to white) when the background turns darker. Clearly, something strange is going on here...
First of all, see if "Print background colors and images" is selected at File | Options | Display.
