Dear All,


I have 400 pages in a word file. i want to add header/footer as per the topics on the relevent page.
Please guide me to post different header/footer on different pages.

First, look into use of the StyleRef Field. That is the primary method of getting relevant information into headers and footers.

Sometimes people want a different header/footer or none on the first page of a document or of a chapter. That is the purpose of the different first page setting.

See the information on headers and footers at Sections / Headers and Footers in Microsoft Word 2007-2013. You may want to save a link to the Header/Footer Settings Recap, but read the text first.
