Default Multiple TOC, sub TOC in a word document

Is it possible to create multiple indexes in a word document?
My current setup is:

Section 1 - main

index linked to bookmark
end section 1
Section 2 - Attachments
index linked to bookmark section 2-- 1
Attachment with index -- 2
end

So the problems are:

1 - takes all items of the sub index as well
2 - index can't be dependant on bookmark since it's not a different section??

Indexes, or Tables of Contents? Both can take bookmark arguments.

So bookmark each range you want to have a separate TOC for and add a switch for the corresponding bookmark to the TOC field. See Insert|Quick Parts|Field>TOC

This doesn't solve the issue with the sub TOC
Like I have this:

Section 2
Index of Attachments

Attachment A
Attachment B
..............

Some of these attachments have TOC's

So when I let the TOC of the index of attachment update I'm getting all attachment headings as well.
When I'm updating the TOC of the attachment it adds the index of TOC's to it.
I'm trying to solve this without having to change each heading of the attachments.

If you are trying to exclude certain headings from the TOC spanned by a bookmarked range, you will need to use a different heading level for those headings.

Ok sadly so clone headings based on current headings would be the solution then. still keeps lots of work to add each attachment but oh well sadly no different solution
