Default Can I set synchronous scrolling default value to OFF

Hi all

I'm using Word 2010 and when I want to work on two documents I use the View Side by Side option on the View tab. However, when I use this option it automatically switches synchronous scrolling on.

Can I change this default so that when I select View Side by Side the default for synchronous scrolling is always OFF?

Many thanks.

Kenneth
