Hi. When i print out my resume, there's a ribbon thingy which appeared on top. Anyone know how to remove it?

I would guess no one will know what you are talking about. Sorry.

Are you by any chance printing a web page or a screenshot rather than a Word document?

I mean i can't remove the border with the words file, home, insert, page layout, review, view in it. I can't find the word design with the word border in it. I'm printing a word document.

To remove a border, click on the PAGE LAYOUT ribbon, then click on the downward arrow in the lower right-hand corner of the Page Setup section of that ribbon. This will bring up the PAGE SETUP dialog menu; click on the “Layout” tab at the top of that menu, then click on the BORDERS tab in the lower right-hand corner. This will bring up the BORDERS and SHADING dialog menu. Click on the Page Border tab at the top of the menu; then, in the SETTING section on the left-hand side, click on NONE. Then click OK. The border should then be removed.

There's no border tab in it.

I have no clue what a "ribbon thingy" is and, if the above instructions for removing a border were not the solution...be more specific as to what is the problem so that someone can offer a solution.

I, for one, can't even guess how you are getting that to print unless you are printing a screenshot. I don't think I could get it to print if I tried.

I quit using microsoft word and used open office to print and it work fine. Thanks all for the help!
