Default MS Word file corupted after an unexpected shut down

Hello!
The power broke down while I was editing a Word file. At the restart I noticed that the file was corrupted. I recovered two versions of the same document, one with signs something like this:

Quote:
Q ¢? ? bjbjqPqP ?? 4ª? ?:? ?:? QS? YY? YY? YY? ¤ ê? ê? ê? ê? ê? ê? ê? ? þ? F? F? F? F? R? þ? ?? ö j? j? j? j? j? j? j? j? š? ? œ? œ? œ? œ? œ? œ? $ ?? h? y? B? À? ? ê? j? j? j? j? j? À? ê? ê? j? j? Õ? ? j? j? j? j? ê? j? ê? j? š? j?
and another with blank spaces, that I suspect to be signs. Also, the file was converted to .doc from after it was initially .rtf . Does anybody know any quick solution to recover my text?

Thanks

If you had Word's auto-save mode on when you were working on this document, there should be a .asd version of it on your system (for the autorecovery location, see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/107686); otherwise one or more of the .tmp files Word creates may have recoverable content. On Win 7 systems, these files are typically stored in "C:\ Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp" (see also https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/211632).

Thank you! No result, unfortunately . There was no Word's auto-save mode on, in my case...

Time to dig out your backups, then.
