Default Generic style for any font

Hello,

I want to create a generic style for any font. For instance, if I have one paragraph in Arial 10 pts and another paragraph in Tahoma 14 pts, I want a style that allows me to set bold, margins, and italic without affecting the font or the font size. How can I do it?
