Hi everyone!
Is it possible to setup a style so that, when applied, ti will leave certain formatting options alone. For instance, I have text that will occasionally have superscript numbers, or small caps, or other formatting here and there that I want to have preserved. Is there a way to allow that to happen when the style is applied? Or maybe an different way of asking the same question: is there a way to limit a style to just changing the font, font size, line spacing, and space between paragraphs? Thanks! |

A paragraph style will not change such things unless the aberrant formatting is more than half the paragraph. To apply this style, click in the paragraph without selecting any text.

Thank you Charles!
You're absolutely right. I was forcing a paste to match destination style, which stripped everything out of what I needed it to keep, but pasting and then apply the paragraph style (even highlighting the paragraphs) does what I wanted it to do. Thanks for forcing me to reexamine things! |
