One other 2013 feature to avoid is the checkbox content control.



Not responsive to your question, but it is quite possible to have multiple versions of Word running on one computer. I have Word 97, 2003, 2007, 2010 & 2013 on mine. If you do this, you need to tweak the registry to prevent Word from reinstalling its settings each time you switch. The method is listed by Graham Mayor at Toolbars and Word 2007/2010 - dual version registry hack. Search the page for the words "registry hack" to find it.
