Last version not saved properly
I have been working for some time without saving. After a week work my son closed the document without saving. So am back a week. Is there a way ti recover a recent version? Thank you

If you were working on a document on your local drive, then you are probably out of luck. You could search for files with the asd extension (autorecover files), but these are primarily intended as an extra precaution in case Word has crashed.
For the future, you may find MVP Graham Mayor's Save in two places add-in useful. Go to http://www.gmayor.com/SaveInTwoPlacesAddIn.htm.
