Is there any way for sub-equation numbering in WORD? I would like to number each set of my equations as below: (1.a), (1.b), (1.c), ... (2.a), (2.b), (2.c), ... Thank you very much in advance. Regards |

Multi-level numbering, probably one of the most frequent questions in this forum :-} Try the classic reference http://shaunakelly.com/word/numberin...g20072010.html

Otherwise, the standard caption numbering system utilizes the SEQ field. That can also be set up to handle this.
