In my document, I am trying to provide the equations with captions and then later in the text to refer to them.
E.g. : A=b-c --this is a test equation-- Eq. 1 This is a cross-reference to Eq. 1, Insert reference to Entire caption A=b-c --this is a test equation-- Eq. 1 This is a cross-reference to Eq. 1, Insert reference to Only label and number A=b-c --this is a test equation-- Eq. 1 Obviously, the caption is not only the label and its number (Eq. 1), but the whole text preceeding the label. Besides, when inserting the cross-reference, while the Insert reference to drop down selects "Only label and number", I get again the whole caption. How to do it, when I want to have in the cross-reference only the label and its number (here in this case : Eq. 1) ? This is how the normal text with cross-references should look like, isn't it ? Thank you. Mis |
